You're welcome. I have to look up his book, and your own too :) The world may indeed not need a Trump but there are three of his kind in this country where one of them is constantly threatening the rest with seccession because Putin's backing them.

Powerful countries must be held accountable for the influence they have and what they use it for, however that's rarely the case because they always have the upper hand. I never doubted for a moment that the only reason everyone's so invested into helping Zelensky is because of their need for Ukrainian resources to keep their comfortable middle class life from collapsing.

Foreign education system that's engaging with troubled communities here is so out of touch with their needs that it reeks of money laundry, like when a foreign college here organised a sustainability workshop in an elementary school virtually ruled by ethnic apartheid, kids divided into separate areas. But hey, going green is more important. Taking sides immediately puts you in a difficult position. Like when I say that Queers for Palestine reeks of hypocrisy because the country is one of the most dangerous destinations for LGBT visitors, with 93 percent of population openly homophobic. But if I say it out loud, not even the fact I'm gay myself can help me to hide from the mob. No matter who you support, you'll be harassed into shutting up for supporting the wrong side. No wonder it's all getting out of hand. Thank you to you too, I enjoy your writing.
