You have no idea how many times I deal with this as a project manager where the inclusivity aspect is all about metric. They need members of minority groups (which denies people their individuality, lumping them together into an amorphous mass that happens to share one single preference) to fill the gaps required to get their hands on money to fund their projects. It doesn't really matter if you've got anything smart to share as long as you have the identity they need to fill out a spreadsheet.
