With ever growing numbers of young people believing that a subscription to Joe Rogan's podcasts or cheering to motivational speakers equals good education, there's more than enough reason that the original concept of education has kicked the bucket. And you're so right. Teachers too need to be able to pay their bills, rent, etc. It should be harder to get a teaching position in a good school than getting elected into the Oval Office. But hey-the fabled American dream has been built on school drop-outs who made fame or fortune on their own. Hence the media conviced children that you really don't need school as much as you were made to believe. And that's entirely our fault.
