It's a matter of simple statistics, really. The Tate/La Bianca killers all had this sort of background, just like Aldrich that caused the massacre at that gay club in Utah.

My whole point was that bigger families create a bigger workforce which is necessary to maintain the economy and an accessible job market. It doesn't mean that you'll die alone, but that more population means more jobs, more money and in the end a better support system and health policy when you need it the most in your older years. If everyone retires without children, whose work will pump the money into your social security fund? It's already tough, but in a situation like that people won't be able to afford the most simple funeral or cremation.
