Since it really is true that women are less known for hideous crimes when compared to men, it makes female "monsters" so much more interesting to me. For instance, one of the most prolific serial killers in history is Amelia Dyer with a body count of cca 400 children. Then there's Magda Goebbels who killed all of her 6 children instead of helping them escape Hitler's bunker in Berlin. And the Bosnian Serb war criminal Biljana Pavsic with that famous photo where you can see her literally walking over a victim's body to shake hands with one of the war butchers. It proves (to me) that the instinct for destruction is equally distributed among everyone. What makes the difference is that women are better when it comes to controlling their dark side.
