Omg I can totally relate. Parents don't understand just because they didn't personally and explicitly instill hatred and discrimination into their kids, these aren't aware of their parents' attitudes and prejudices. I'm usually the ideological minority at every family lunch. As a general rule I don't have my closest family members on my social media. It saved me a lot of energy that would otherwise be wasted on Facebook fights. I urge everyone to follow suit.
