Oh gosh, me neither. I'm afraid though the world is running of viable long-term alternatives. At least none whose age would qualify them for the president of a retirement home's chess club too. In my own country, we have long since been cured of the illusion that your leaders are in it for anyone but themselves and their families. That's why 30 years after it ended, there still are ruins around. And they know they don't even have to pretend anymore because voters have been existentially blackmailed into submission. Elections are nothing but a necessary evil because it's a public secret they'll remain in control until they can pass the reins to their children and grandchildren. Democracy is just the right to choose who gets to play you for a fool until you rebel. But you won't because there's too much to lose. That's the outcome of our struggles.
