No. Why? Children inherit here notwithstanding their gender. It comes down to what you agree upon with others. Even if there's a son and a daughter, the only way for her to not inherit anything is to decide it by her own free will. When my uncle died, his daughter/my cousin inherited one half of the estate with her brother who inherited the other. When my grandfather died, I was representing my mother who died beforehand to express her wishes regarding her part of the family estate. And yes, she was granted her part. I don't know where you live, but things work differently in Europe.
