Many practicing Christians in my experience don't really understand the difference between faith and religion, nor are they capable of understanding that one can be spiritual without subscribing to a particular religion. Also, in my experience, Christians confuse criticising crimes committed by the Church with pure hatred of Christians in totality. You're obviously unfamiliar with Christians in former Communist countries who act like the woke left in America: they rub their historical victimhood up your nose until it bleeds. No philosophical questions here, just the usual "you're with us or against us". The principles according to which I act in my life isn't an atheist repackaging of Christianity. It's called good upbringing. Throw your trash into the can instead of a river, focus on values that can't be bought and don't be an asshole. If you need to be religious to act like this, you're a lost cause already.
