Kudos to her for being so daring but if my mom did a fashion editorial with having (almost) it all hanging out I'd be forever embarassed. Because it's out there forever. There are things about my parents I'd rather not see. Or not having the whole world see them too. I suppose pop culture and decency don't have to be compactible and that's ok. But when you involve someone who can't refuse to take part in it (like a baby), we have a serious problem. Pop culture and social networks became so exhibitionist. As soon as friends have a baby, their Instagram is plastered with photos of it. I shudder at the fact how many people have access to it. And how many weird things about them might not be in plain sight. I actually see around me an exodus from the social media for that very reason. Mind you, I hold the same opinion of male celebrities and I don't follow American sports (few of us in Europe really do).
