As much as I'd like a change of scenery too, trust me, if everyone who disapproved of homophobia were to leave Idaho, there would be no one left to provide support to those who don't do it for whatever reason. It's a bit like fleeing a deserted island and leaving others behind to starve to death in the sun. So you should probably look at the issue from that perspective too. The fight won't end if you decide to elope. Those that stay will just have one friend less to rely on.
