Americans made a fucking mess of every problem they try to "solve" and then just walk away with well-lined pockets. No one- not even North Korea-can match their level of propaganda with Hollywood as its biggest trumpet. Putin has his own nasty agenda and it's clear what he wants and why he's doing all this. On the other hand, American foreign politics with their enthusiasm for peace and democracy are just an affront for manipulating locals into submission without any long term strategy.

My country went through a war 30 years ago, and thanks to American approach to the problem and the Dayton Peace Accords, 30 years later we have a dysfunctional, corrupt system ruled by nationalist elites. And a big part of the territory that's constantly threatening to leave, openly supporting Putin.
But hey- at least we got McDonald's and Burger King! Sounds fair to me. Don't even get me started on American cultural colonialism with the American corners and the United World College that's nothing but a recruiting machine for American universities.

Russian dictators are a nasty piece of work. But no one comes close to America when it comes to "solutions" that, probably intentionally, never work in favour of those they want to help. Richard Holbrooke called their solution to the war in Bosnia the biggest mistake of his career.

What Ukrainians are going through is a horrible ordeal the biggest price of which is paid by the most vulnerable parts of society. But the refugees from Mariupol and Bucha should be aware of one thing: no one really cares about Ukrainian people but their natural resources that the western countries are depending on to maintain their standard of living. If it weren't for oil, gas, seeds, paper etc, you'd still be waiting for an intervention because there's nothing philanthropic about foreign policies of powerful countries.
